Food & Funds Drive for Holiday Hampers
It’s a Brentwood School tradition to help families at this time of year with a Holiday Hamper. From now until December 12th, non-perishable food items and cash can be donated at the school to directly help members of our Brentwood Elementary community. Some suggested donation items include: cereals, milk powder, flour, peanut butter, jam, canned soups/vegetables, coffee/tea/hot chocolate, pasta, rice, canned fish/meats and soap, toothpaste, diapers, baby food, shampoo, conditioner, etc. All cash donations (to be placed in white box by the office) will be collected and a group of volunteers will go and purchase perishable items such as potatoes, carrots, bread, etc. Thank you, in advance, for your generosity and continued support in feeding local families.
Please note that food with past expiration dates cannot be accepted.
Volunteer for Hamper Building!
Come help sort and assemble the Holiday Hampers on MONDAY, DEC 12th from 6 to 8pm (or earlier if there are lots of volunteers) in the school multi-purpose room. If you can assist, please email Kelly Hoffmann at kelly@brentwoodpac.ca, or just show up to lend a hand – many hands make light work 🙂
(Parents and students are welcome to join us on this date.)
